# Windows Agent

NetSPI supports agents to be hosted on Windows devices with the BAS Windows Agent. Here you will find the information and instructions on the BAS Agent for the Windows platform.

# Requirements

The Breach and Attack Simulation agent supports Windows 10 or Windows Server 2019 or newer platforms. The agent requires the .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or greater to be installed. The .NET Framework 4.7.2 is installed on most modern versions of Windows (Windows 10 1803 and newer or Windows Server 1803 and newer). Use the PowerShell script below to verify you have the correct version of the .NET Framework installed if you are unsure.

# Download Agent

You are able to download as many instances of the Agent as you'd like for your environment. To download the Agent log into the Breach and Attack Simulation application and navigate to "Agents" in the left-hand navigation and select "Download Agent", then "Download Windows Agent."

# Agent Profile

In order for your Agent to securely authenticate to the Breach and Attack Simulation platform a Profile file contains the necessary configuration information. To download your Profile log into the Breach and Attack Simulation application, navigate to "Agents" in the left-hand navigation and select "Download Profile."

To configure the agent with your profile, select the "Open" button and select the Profile file:

# Removal

The Breach and Attack Simulation agent is not a persistent installation and to remove the Agent, simply delete the binary from the endpoint.
